A second location of Chipotle Mexican Grill in Little Rock is slated to replace the longstanding Baker Building on University Avenue, which will be bulldozed.

Those who love Chipotle Mexican Grill will be happy to learn that it will be adding a new location to central Arkansas.

Arkansas Business reports that the fast-casual restaurant will replace the 38,000 square-foot Baker Building at 100 S. University, which is scheduled to be demolished.

Little Rock's first and Arkansas' second Chipotle restaurant opened in 2011 at the Pleasant Ridge Town Center, 11525 Cantrell Rd., in west Little Rock. The open-kitchen restaurant, which has around 1,000 locations in the United States, Canada and England, specializes in tacos (with soft or crispy tacos), burritos, burrito bowls and salads with a choice of chicken, pork carnitas, chicken, beef or vegetarian (made with black beans and guacamole).

The company strives to use local produce including bell peppers, jalapenos, oregano, red onions and lettuce when possible.
