Turn in donations to Goodwill locations across the state by Dec. 31 and they will count toward your 2013 tax returns.

After Christmas, finding room for all of your new treasures might be a little hard. Why not make some room for your gifts by donating unused items and unworn clothes stashed in the closet?

Donate to a Goodwill store by Tuesday (Dec. 31) and they will count toward this year’s tax return.

Last year alone, Goodwill served 8,370 people and placed 1,280 people into competitive employment, so you know your donations are going to those who need it!

Goodwill has 31 locations around the state that accepts gently worn sweaters, coats, footwear, games, furniture and electronics. Most Goodwill donation centers are open to 7 p.m. and later.
