Learn how to properly cook eggs this weekend at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute's "Made from Scratch- Everything Breakfast" culinary class.

Calling all budding chefs and breakfast lovers-- have a chance to learn a thing or two about whipping up a delicious breakfast.

The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, 1 Rockefeller Dr., Morrilton, is hosting the "Made From Scratch- Everything Breakfast" from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. this Saturday (Jan. 12). The 2012 Arkansas Diamond Chef Jason Knapp will be teaching the course, providing demonstrations and discussion, as well as hands-on experience for students.

Those participating will learn how to properly cook eggs, omelets, macerate fruit, a bake a savory muffin that includes bacon, green onion and a soft-boiled egg inside, and more.

The next class that foodies can join in on is the "Seafood Simplified" class on Saturday, Jan. 26, where they will learn how to properly sear scallops, butter poach lobster, prepare shrimp ceviche and more from 2008 Summer Olympics Chef Robert Hall.
