Dickey's Barbecue Pit is planning on opening five new restaurants in Arkansas over the next two years.

A major Dallas-based chain is looking to expand its presence in the Natural State.

Arkansas Business reports that Dickey's Barbecue Pit is planning to open five locations in Arkansas over the next two years, including one in Rogers this summer. Other spots that are lined up for the franchise are Little Rock, Searcy, Bentonville and Fayetteville.

The fast-casual restaurant chain already has two locations in northwest Arkansas-- Lowell and Siloam Springs.
