Running the Little Rock Marathon is just a few weeks? Make things a little easier on your body and do your best during the big race with the help of yoga.
The Floating Lotus will be offering its Third Annual Runner's Yoga Workshop, a six-week Runners's Series leading up to the marathon on Sunday, March 3. In the series, classes will focus on opening up the body, exploring the front and back gait of the legs by digging deep into the hamstrings and quadriceps.
The series starts on Sunday, Jan. 20 and will meet every Sunday through Feb. 24. Super-comfortable clothes that stretch are recommended and if you have a yoga mat, bring it.
The cost of the series is $60. Classes are 3-4 p.m. each Sunday.
