The traveling exhibit, "American Chronicles: The Art of Normal Rockwell," will feature 50 original paintings and all 323 Saturday Evening Post covers, according to a recent Arkansas Business article.
Additionally, the exhibition will provide a behind-the-scenes look into the how the artist really worked, showcasing materials from the Norman Rockwell Museum's archives, such as preliminary sketches, color studies and drawings down to the finished artworks.
Rockwell was a popular illustrator and one of the most notable American artists. His work "Rosie the Riveter" is part of the museum's permanent collection.
The exhibit will open March 9 at the museum. Crystal Bridges Members can now begin reserving tickets to view the exhibit. Non-members can purchase tickets beginning Feb. 4.
