The Root Cafe will be open for dinner tonight (Jan. 25), offering some yummy new selections, along with their delicious staples like burgers.

Breakfast and lunch items have only been on the menu of The Root, 1500 S. Main St., Little Rock, since opening its doors years ago-- not dinner.

That's until now.

The restaurant announced on its Facebook page this week that they would extend their hours tonight (Jan. 25) and offer a delicious dinner to support the Southern SAWG Conference in downtown Little Rock.

From 6 to 9 p.m., the eatery will be serving a Falling Sky fried chicken and biscuit special, along with its scrumptious burgers, bratwurst, mushroom burgers, fries and sweet potato fries.

Next door at Studio Main, the Central Arkansas New Agrarian Society (CANAS) will be hosting its mixer Homegrown! Hootenanny, highlighted in this week's hottest events on InArkansas.
