Have you been able to stop by White Water Tavern for lunch?
This winter, the dive bar/music venue/eatery has created quite a stir with its super-scrumptious lunch menu created by chef Jonathan Wilkins.
Once a week from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. on Friday, foodies can feast on one of many grilled sandwiches, hoagies or burgers on the menu.
A variety of grilled sandwiches, which are served on house-baked bread, are sure to treat the taste buds, including the Matteo Blanco-- the ultimate cheesy sammy with herbed cream cheese, raw milk yellow cheddar, raw milk jalapeno white cheddar and roasted garlic mayo-- and the sweet and salty Huggy Bear, which consists of bananas, peanut butter and honey. Other grilled items include a Corey Bacon, Letuce and Tomato, and Egg and Cheese sandwich.
A trio of hoagies also make up the menu-- the vegan Silly Cheesesteak, a Bootleg Cheesesteak and a Falafel Hoagie (vegan).
Would you like a burger, instead? The kitchen serves up the traditional hamburger and cheeseburger, in addition to something called Juicy Lucy, which consists of a burger patty loaded with American cheese and topped with raw milk, cheddar, grilled onions, garlic mayo, mustard and pickles. A Patty Melt and Bologna Burger also make up the burger lineup.
Partner a sandwich, burger or hoagie with hand-cut fries and one of the yummy housemade sauces-- roasted garlic mayo, Sriracha mayo, ketchup or a special "sauce of the week."

Every now and again, the kitchen opens its doors for Sunday brunch where customers can pick from a special menu. Check out the latest brunch menu, which was used last weekend.
