Still trying to figure out where to go for Valentine's Day?
Here are three places that are offering special menus for the holiday:
- Two Riverdale restaurants owned by Mark Abernathy-- Loca Luna and Red Door-- are offering a unique Valentine's week menu for lovebirds that includes a variety of romantic cocktails and wines, dinner specials and desserts. Cocktail and wine specials range from a $25 bottle of Sparkling Wine Segura to a $5 glass of Moscato to a couple of special cocktails. Take advantage of the special dinner plates that will be offered, including a large grilled lobster tail with a 7 oz. bacon-wrapped Angus filet and two sides for $37.95; an orange roughy filet stuffed with lobster-crab cake with citrus burre blanc for $24.95; and a whole grilled and broiled lobster tail with garlic butter and two sides for $35. Have a sweet tooth? A couple of delicious dessert specials will be available-- two housemade hand-dipped white and dark tuxedo strawberries for $5 and three Lyne's homemade chocolate fudge truffles for $5. - Today (Feb. 14) and Saturday (Feb. 16), Terry's Finer Foods, 5018 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock, is hosting Chef John Paul Duquesnoy of Paris for its special Bonne Saint Valentin dinner. Starting at 7 p.m. both nights, the dinner will include French dishes, starting out with fresh pea soup with truffle fois gras; moving on to baby green cabbage leaves stuffed with lobster and finished with fennel butter; a saddle of roast veal accompanied with a potato gratin and confit of garlic; and ending with a sponge cake smothered in rum and a bitter chocolate tart. The dinner is $100 per person and $150 per person with a wine pairing. Personal wines are welcome for a $15 corkage fee.
