The semi-local band are gearing up for their latest show in Little Rock Saturday night at Cajun's Wharf, 2400 Cantrell Rd.
Taking their name from Little Rock's Big Dam Bridge, The Big Dam Horns deliver horn-infused tunes of jazz, blues, soul and R&B and mix it with a little rock 'n roll.
Formed in May of 2012, The Big Dam Horns are made up of musicians from all over central and southwest Arkansas who met while attending Henderson State University in Arkadelphia. The group consists of 12 members play funky cover versions of hits from the 1930s through today.
The show gets underway at 9 p.m. It's only 21 and up and there is a $5 cover charge. Get a look at one of their performances this past fall below.
