Brush up on your painting skills while helping out a central Arkansas animal shelter Wednesday (March 6).

Starting at 6:30 p.m., Spirited Art, 5612 R Street, Little Rock, will be hosting a fun event that will donate half of its proceeds to the Friends of the Animal Village -- used to continue helping out the city shelter Little Rock Animal Village with funding, programs and expansion to improve quality of life for the animals and increase adoptions.

At the event, the paint studio will teach the basics of acrylic painting and a step-by-step process on creating a masterpiece while event-goers can sip on good wine. And what's great is that everyone can take their piece home the end of the night!

The public will be painting a beautiful piece called “Proud Peacock.” FAV will provide wine and refreshments while Spirited Art will provide art supplies. Snacks and beverages can also be brought from home, as well.

FAV asks that event-goers bring a modest donation, which will be put to good use helping pets at the Little Rock Animal Village to find good homes.

Admission is $35 per person. To join the waiting list, click here. For more information, click here or call (501) 296-9903.
