Ciroc Vodka Tasting Coming to Diversion
This tasting, according to Diversion owner/sommelier Joseph St. Ana, will be a little different and a lot of fun. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, Diversion is introducing two new flavors of Ciroc Vodka: Red Berry and Coconut. After tasting the original Ciroc and these new flavors, participants can design a martini with their favorite.
Ciroc, manufactured in France, is distinguished from other vodkas by being derived from grapes instead of the more commonly used corn, sorghum, rye, wheat, or potatoes.
Ciroc Red Berry is flavored with natural raspberry and strawberry with a nice level of sweetness and a hint of the herbal, floral character that unflavored Ciroc has.
Ciroc Coconut is very sweet with a rich, chewy coconut flavor and with some pineapple and butterscotch tones.
Cost is $15, which includes hors d'oeurvres.
