Something pretty magnificent is coming to Little Rock's River Market-- a place that has every culinary spice you can imagine, teas of all sorts and a huge variety of herbs, coffees, oils and more.
It's called Dandelion Herbs, Spices and Teas and it's looking to have its grand opening this week-- Saturday (Dec. 14) in fact.
Owned by Matthew Cooper (also a chef at the new Cache restaurant opening next door) and wife Priscilla Fincher, the apothecary-like store located at 419 President Clinton Ave. will offer bulk organic herbs, spices and teas, as well as local honey, coffee, bath salts and essential oils.
Cooper said the store will be offering "every culinary spice known to man," as well as more than 150 green, white and black teas. He is looking to have a tea specialist on staff at least five days a week to help find a specific herbal tea to fix just about any ailment you might have, too. Something else? Try an herbal tea of the day.
"What we’re trying to do is give Little Rock something that they haven’t had before," Cooper said.
The store is planning to be open 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
