Big Whiskey's, 225 E. Markham St., Little Rock, well equipped with flat-screen TVs, is offering $1.50 Bud Light pints during the Sugar Bowl along with a huge menu of appetizers (try the buffalo chicken dip), soups, salads, spuds, burgers and entrees such as pork chops, Parmesan chicken, lemon pepper salmon, baby back ribs and a selection of steaks. 

Across the river, you can celebrate the Sugar Bowl Argenta-style with big-screen TVs, drink specials and Hog calling at Cornerstone Pub & Grill, Cregeen's Irish Pub and Reno's Argenta Cafe.

Fox and Hound, 2800 Lakewood Village Drive, North Little Rock, features zany drinks like the Kryptonite Rita and Fruit Loopy along with a wide selection of spirits, wines and beers. To keep your strength up during the Sugar Bowl, munch on appetizers such as potato skins, spinach dip and fresh-baked Bavarian pretzels plus burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, turkey melts, pizza, plus steaks and fish and chips.

Gusano's, 313 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, is selling an Arkansas vs. Ohio State commemorative pint glass for $3 with your choice of $2 domestic or $3 imported draft beer. Tuck into a large single-topping pizza for $9.99.

 Hibernia Irish Tavern, 9700 Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock, offers a mix of Irish and Southern hospitality along with big-screen TVs, domestic and imported beers (including Murphy's Irish Stout, Harp, Smithwick's and Guinness), Irish whiskeys (such as Paddy's, Old Bushmills, and Jamesons), cider, mead, poitin (or poteen), appetizers, burgers and sandwiches, ribeyes, and Irish-accented dishes such as bacon and cabbage, Irish stewe and bangers and mash.

Markham Street Grill and Pub1321 W. Markham St., Little Rock, has a kitchen that's open from 11 a.m.-midnight daily serving appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, salads, soups (try the house-made chicken tortilla soup topped with avocado and Cheddar), shrimp, scallops and steaks. There are plenty of big-screen TVs in this smoke-friendly establishment.

 West End Smokehouse and Tavern, 215 N. Shackleford Road, Little Rock, has 50 TVs, a full bar, a smokehouse menu with appetizers,,  soups and salads, burgers, pizzas, steaks and sandwiches (try the pulled barbecue chicken sandwich topped with slaw), pool tables, darts, arcade games and shuffleboard.

Zack's Place, 1400 N. University Ave., Little Rock, has flat-screen TVs, darts, sitting areas with couches, pool tables, a TouchTone jukebox, a bar with seating for 30, and a dance floor. The menu includes ribeyes, grilled salmon, fried shrimp, appetizers, burgers, chili dogs, sandwiches (try the Philly cheesesteak) and desserts.
