Spring break starts this weekend. Does the mere thought send you in to a panic? If you're one of the many familes who are not taking long expensive trips this year, fear not. There is plenty to do right here in the Little Rock area.

We've compiled a list of things to do from week-long mini-camps to activities and events. There's even a list of happenings that are a short drive away if you have time to take a day or two off.

My top choices are the spring break adventures at Pinnacle Mountain State Park, the Tulip Extravaganza at Garvan Woodland Gardens and the Spring into Spain art classes at the Arkansas Arts Center, which include a special matinee of Ferdinand the Bull.
