Come armed with your checkbook for this charity event – A Day in the Life – where once-in-a-lifetime experiences will be up for grabs in traditional auction fashion.

Sponsored by our parent and sister publications respectively, Arkansas Business and Soirée, A Day in the Life is planned from 6:30-9 p.m. on April 8 to benefit the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Central Arkansas.

Attendees will be able to bid on opportunities to spend a day with interesting people in central Arkansas. Among the auction items:

  • sideline press box access for a Razorback basketball game with KATV's Scott Inman
  • football camp for kids at War Memorial Stadium with former NFL player Keith Jackson
  • a mother-daughter luncheon with "American Idol" contestant Charity Vance and her mom
  • a trip to see the Fox News "Mike Huckabee Show" in Washington D.C. and have coffee with the former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate
  • tickets for "Good Morning America" and "The View" with back-stage access
  • a flying lesson from Central Flying Service

Tickets cost $50 per person if you're just looking to  enjoy the auction action, but you'll have to spend more than that to walk away with one of these experiences! The event takes place in the Lafayette Square building, 523 S. Louisiana St.
