I loved dressing up on Halloween when I was growing up, and we have the family photos to prove it. One year I was a scarecrow. Next year, a hobo (picture scruffy clothes and a knapsack on my back ... how un-PC is that?!). Then there was the one year I talked my mother into a store-bought costume and sported a probably flammable, definitely uncomfortable mask and dress as the Barbie Bride. I kid you not.
We've been having a debate recently in the Pyron house as to what my kids want to be for Halloween. My daughter is certain that she wants to be Selena Gomez, we're just not sure about the outfit. My 10-year-old is not sure he wants to dress up. I told him, "No costume. No candy." So we'll see.
