The Great Pumpkin Patch & 5K Pumpkin Run at Lonoke Depot — On Oct. 1, bring the family for a morning run, then purchase all your fall decorations while supporting the Open Arms Shelter, a temporary home for abused and neglected children. Locally grown pumpkins and gourds for sale will include traditional long-handled jacks, pie pumpkins, cinderellas, fairytales and luminas. Mums, hay bales and corn stalks will also be available.
