Frosty Ghidotti is the newest member of Natalie's family (Nathan, Corrine and Granddad Sam).
There’s not much evidence left that we had snow on the ground this past weekend, but today’s Picture of the Week is proof! Our snowman has some grassy parts here and there, but he’s not bad for an Arkansas snowman.
When I posted this picture on Facebook, my Little Rock neighbors were wondering where in the world we found enough snow to build this guy. The answer? It’s always colder in Conway! We headed to my granddad’s and raided his beautiful big backyard of all of its snow.
But before building a snowman and creating snow angels all over the place, we headed to Conway Country Club’s perfect sledding hills to enjoy the last of the snow and ice. Not that Little Rock doesn’t have its fair share of great sledding spots, but I have to say this is by far one of the best in central Arkansas. Kids sled and have a great time, while the parents watch (inside!!) from the 19th Hole bar! Next time the forecast calls for snow, I’m jumping in the car and heading for Conway!
No wonder HP decided to set up shop there ….
