We first visited on a cool and rainy Monday to lunch and plan for our upcoming issue, and we were pleasantly surprised at the delicious food, clean and modern decor and friendly wait staff.

A soothing water feature greeted us at the door, and we were escorted to a comfy booth along the wall. Pendant lighting and warm colors provided an intimate ambiance for our meal, which arrived promptly with our cups of hot sage tea.

We started with the appetizer trio, a plate of Dolma, grapevine leaves stuffed with rice, onions, herbs, and Turkish spices; creamy roasted pepper and original hummus, and warm pita bread. For our lunch entree, we chose the Adana wrap filled with juicy ground beef kebab seasoned with Turkish spices and flame-grilled. It’s served with creamy Cacik sauce, Sumak salad and tomato slices.

Istanbul says they only serve the finest imported Turkish spices, quality custom-cut local meats and fresh vegetables every day, which sounds great to us. We’ll definitely be back.
