Jim Balfanz is president of City Year, an education-focused nonprofit that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track to graduation. Balfanz will discuss a new City Year report titled "Closing the Implementation Gap," which highlights the critical role national service can play in helping to advance key school reform efforts in America's lowest performing schools.
