    Three local artists from the UALR Applied Arts Program, Kerrick Hartman, Sandi Sell and Carrie Crocker, will speak about the craft field.

    • Kerrick Hartamn creates formal sculptural pieces, often fluid curvilinear forms with heavily manipulated surface textures, color work, and apertures.
    • Sandi Sell hews wood into organic forms reminiscent of natural spiraling and undulating botanical forms.
    • Carrie Crocker utilizes metalsmithing techniques; the circus and its colorful ensemble of characters serve as metaphorical analogs for character types and personalities from her life.
