  • Description: Located at the Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum, the USS Razorback submarine was commissioned on April 3, 1944. A tour of the U.S.S. Razorback takes visitors through the seven watertight compartments, where they learn about the Razorback's wartime service, her activities during the Cold War and Vietnam and her service in the Turkish Navy. Visitors can see firsthand how submariners lived, where they slept next to their torpedoes, where they ate and where they worked. The tour is not recommended for children younger than 5.
