  • Description: Nestled in a small space on Capitol Avenue, Hanaroo Sushi Bar is one of our favorite places to go for fresh Japanese fare. A lucky maneki neko cat, with both paws raised, greets diners, and the service is top-notch. For starters, order hot green tea and share a crunchy tornado cucumber roll composed of salmon, caviar, crab, avocado, carrots and cream cheese wrapped in fresh cucumber. We also like the tuna tataki and the thick and flavorful yaki udon noodles with shrimp.
