Joe is the head of the firm's Employee Benefits Practice Group, where he has practiced for more than 30 years. Joe has extensive experience in the design, implementation and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans (pension plans, profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans and ESOPs), nonqualified deferred compensation plans and welfare plans. In addition, he counsels plan sponsors and fiduciaries with respect to ERISA controversies and litigation. Joe has been listed in Chambers and Partners USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Compensation and Benefits since 2008. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Employee Benefits since 1989.
