Amy Clemmons Brown received her law license and hit the ground running at McMullan law Firm four years ago. She has not slowed down since. "I would certainly describe our areas of practice as exciting," Brown says. "You tend to be 'on call' because problems often arise that need immediate attention, such as a closing blowing up at the settlement table or a neighbor blocking a client's ability to access his home. We also have loyal national clients who rely on us to be available." Amy finds each challenge exhilarating and recognizes the role the firm's other members play. "It's very rewarding to know that I played a part in helping a client solve her problem. I say 'a part' because the truth is our entire firm is usually involved. We pull together to meet the client's needs." Amy, likewise, credits the support of her husband, Darrell, and her family. "Both my parents and grandparents showed me the value of a strong work ethic and the importance of keeping things in perspective despite how hectic or stressful a situation may be. Always put God and family first, and the rest will fall into place." Amy has a number of hobbies outside of the office. She performs on stage at the Music in the Mountains Show in Horseshoe Bend. Amy explains, "My mom is a founder of a monthly music show there. She and I sing together as we have done since I was very young. Music has always been a part of my life. My husband and I perform together, too." Amy and her husband also enjoy traveling Arkansas to visit the various state parks. Amy is a member of the Pulaski County Bar Association as well as the Young Lawyers and Real Estate Sections of the Arkansas Bar Association. She is Chair-Elect of the Real Estate Title Standards Committee.
