With the real estate market in turmoil, Kelly Halstead is committed to providing her clients with high quality representation. Kelly has focused primarily on real estate and construction litigation for over eight years and has in-depth knowledge of both industries and the laws that govern them. Her experience involves representing title insurance companies, title companies, banks, general contractors and subs, small businesses, and everyday people who have a real estate or construction issue. Professional, prompt and personalized service and extensive experience in her area of practice set the Halstead Law Firm apart. Before opening her own firm, Kelly practiced at Hicks & Associates, clerked for Judge Mackie Pierce, and practiced at McMullan Law Firm. In 2009, Kelly was made partner and the name of the firm was changed to McMullan Halstead. Balancing work, family, and community is important to Kelly. She loves to spend time with her husband, Robert, and their children, John David and Mason. Together they attend soccer games, sail, hike and play. Kelly is a member of the Arkansas, Pulaski County and American Bar Associations, and the Maumelle Chamber of Commerce. Kelly is also active as a volunteer and legal counsel for Holy Sews, an organization that helps families who have lost a child in the early second trimester.
