With his tongue-in-cheek motto "If we don't win your case, you have to pay us anyway," Bruce Munson has been successfully defending personal injury cases for over 32 years. Although he attributes many things to his success as a trial lawyer, he is convinced, if his mentor and friend the Great Sam Laser were still alive, he would take full credit for "Teaching him everything he knows." Outside of the law firm, he attributes his discipline and determination to his late Mother, his courage to step into the trial arena to his Father whom he labels one of the great war heroes of the "Greatest Generation," and his attention to detail to his years as an Air Force Pilot. Without hesitation, when asked what has made Muson's practice successful, he attributes it to each and every member of his law firm. "You can start any place you want, with the staff that takes care of the business of operating a law firm from behind the battle lines, to the vitally important part played by our assistants and paralegals. Most important, however, is the ability to rely on the attorneys with whom I work. There is no substitute in trial work for preparation, preparation and, of course, preparation. Like a lousy sport's cliché the practice of law is a team effort, and the lawyers in the firm are the ones on whom I bestow the credit. They step up to the plate in every aspect of trial development, innovative thinking and taking care of the one thing I hate most, legal research. I only hope I give them back some of what they do for me. Just don't tell them I said so, they will all want raises."
